We have two open positions for communications consultants at DTU Wind & Energy Systems. You will support and contribute actively to the development of communication and creative content for our portfolio of research projects and continued education.
The profile we are looking for is a multi-media talent, comfortable with operating on multiple platforms and with multiple formats. Who has a keen eye for visual communications, an appetite for strategic communication, and a go-do-it approach to the tasks – be they big or small.
You responsibility will span from coordination of activities, updates of text, web, and presentations, to independent content creation and project communication lead. Will and drive for all of it is key to your success.
The job
We are currently focusing on two areas:
- Project communications
We support a range of externally funded projects. Your task is to develop and execute communication plans for the projects. This includes ongoing dialogue with project leaders and the production of content across platforms.
- Internal communications
With 400 colleagues and growing, an important part of our activities are related to internal communication to improve flow of information and the ability to harvest synergies across the department. Your job will be to support and develop communication content and activities in this area.
Our expectations of you
You have
3-4 years’ experience working with the areas above. The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record in the following:
- Project coordination / management
- Editorial planning
- Visual communication
- Copy writing
- Adobe Creative Cloud software (especially Premiere Pro)
- Social media content
- Web development for project websites
You have a degree in communications, multi-media, journalism, brand management, or related field. You can produce high-level content both in quantity and quality. You must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). You are employed as an Academic Officer, Senior Officer, Senior Executive Officer.
Your main work location will be at DTU Campus Risø near Roskilde, but with regular days at DTU Campus Lyngby.
Please note that one position is a two-year contract while the other is a permanent position.
